The ten-year collaborative project ‘The Gift’ (1996-2006) implicated over 35,000 people in the Meurthe and Moselle region of France, around the subject of organ transplant and donation, is an excellent example of the way in which artists providing the visual tools and methodologies to raise awareness for collective action; networking key players in this instance the medical, legal and governmental domains, and effecting legislative change for organ donors. She has previously received EU Culture Funding 2007 for a study on the migration patterns and living conditions of Roma populations across Europe.
