Marton Orosz came to ACT as the first fellow chosen by the “György Kepes Fellowship for Advanced Studies and Transdisciplinary Research in Art, Culture and Technology.”

Marton Orosz is a P.hD. candidate from the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest, Hungary who is at MIT as a Visiting Student in Fall 2011. Orosz is preparing a Ph.D. dissertation and a comprehensive monograph on the Hungarian artist and MIT Institute professor György Kepes.

Previous to coming to MIT, Orosz was a Curator of the Collection of Photography and Media Arts at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, Hungary.
