Media Assistant 2018 - 2020

Chelsea Polk is a multimedia artist and musician. Originally from Cleveland, she began her career in photography and video and has since focused in sound design, writing, and cello performance. She received her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art & Design. Now based in Boston, Chelsea provides media and technology support at MIT’s Program in Art, Culture, and Technology. Her latest project, 44,320, is a podcast and short story on the histories of 8 bogs in North America, Ireland, and Eastern Europe. In her free time, Chelsea plays cello with the New England Philharmonic and collaborates with fellow artists/filmmakers.
