Ryan Aasen is an artist, photographer, researcher, and educator broadly interested in the politics of consumer technologies–particularly around ideas of privacy, media, and class structure. He was an MIT Transmedia Storytelling Initiative fellow, a Northern Lights.mn Art(ists) on the Verge fellow, and his work has been exhibited internationally. He has an MS in Art, Culture and Technology from MIT and a BFA in Integrated Media from St. Cloud State University. Originally from Minnesota, he no longer has a permanent address.
