Angel Nevarez

Angel Nevarez is a visual and sound artist whose artistic practice and research involves remote technologies, networked physical and virtual spaces, the electromagnetic spectrum, contemporary music, dissent, and public forums. He has exhibited works internationally and domestically in venues such as: the Henie Onstad Art Center, Høvikodden, Norway; Manifesta 8, Murcia, Spain; The New Museum, New York; ICA Philadelphia; and INSITE ‘05, San Diego-Tijuana, Mexico, among others. Nevarez studied at the University of California San Diego and was a Studio Fellow at The Whitney Museum’s Independent Study Program.
