About Mikaela:
Mikaela Joyce (she/her) is a digital designer and experimental animator. Prior to joining ACT, Mikaela worked in MIT’s Office of Digital Learning developing web content for MIT Climate and MIT’s The Move; digital platforms for online learning and discussion. She comes to the program with a BA in Studio Art and Media Studies from Pitzer College. She is currently a MA candidate in the Media Design program at Emerson College, and collaborates with the Engagement Lab on civic media initiatives. Her additional interests include coding, graphic novels, and post-punk music.
