Ryan Kuo works primarily in video, photography, and writing. He studied visual art and art history at Harvard and attended medical school at Yale, where he researched Victorian psychiatric photographs. Most recently he served as editor of Kill Screen, a New York-based publication centered on videogames. Ryan currently hosts a live mix on WMBR featuring selections from the UK rave and post-rave continuum. His interests include cuts and contradictions, silences, bodies and vibrations, repetitions, trauma, and safety.
