Kepes Fellow 2011

Marton Orosz came to ACT as the first fellow chosen by the “György Kepes Fellowship for Advanced Studies and Transdisciplinary Research in Art, Culture and Technology.”

Marton Orosz is a P.hD. canidate from the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest, Hungary who is at MIT as a Visiting Student in Fall 2011. Orosz is preparing a Ph.D. dissertation and a comprehensive monograph on the Hungarian artist and MIT Institute professor György Kepes.

Previous to coming to MIT, Orosz was a Curator of the Collection of Photography and Media Arts at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, Hungary.
