Emmanuel Alloa is Research Leader in Philosophy at the University of St. Gallen and teaches Aesthetics at the University of Paris 8. He is the author of various book and numerous articles at the intersection of continental philosophy, aesthetics, and social theory. He has held Invited Visiting Professorships at various international universities (Columbia University, Belo Horizonte, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, UC Berkeley and University of Vienna) and was recipient of the Latsis Prize 2016 for his early scientific achievements.
