Pedro Zylbersztajn holds a BA in Visual Communications from the Pontifical Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His interests reside in the crossing space between different media, such as drawing, writing, sound, programming and new media, and his work is particularly inclined to discuss language and translation systems, rhetoric and the social, artistic and semantic implications of technology. As both an artist and graphic designer, he has been an active component of the art publishing scene in the São Paulo–Rio de Janeiro axis. He has participated in multiple group shows in Brazil and in the US, and held his first solo exhibition, “As if I was the Photographer – Carlos Amadeo Gouvêa, 1971” at casamata gallery, Rio de Janeiro, in March 2016.
