Kevin McLellan’s third full-length poetry collection, IN OTHER WORDS YOU/ was chosen by Timothy Liu for The Hilary Tham Capital Collection, and will be published by The Word Works in 2023.
He is also a 2022 Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship finalist in Poetry. His poem, “Dear Canaries,” appears in the poetry anthology, Queer Nature, edited by Michael Walsh and published by Autumn House Press. This publication also includes poetry from John Ashbery, Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes, James Schuyler, and numerous others.
He also has forthcoming poems in the anthologies The Experiment Will Not Be Bound: An Experimental Anthology of American Writing (Unbound Editions), Appreciating Tender Buttons: An Invitation to Play (The Word Works), and Essential Voices: A COVID-19 Anthology (West Virginia University Press).
Kevin’s short video Dick won Best Short Form Short at the LGBTQ+ Los Angeles Film Festival and his CAMIT grant-funded Wojnarowicz in Cambridge, a series of photographs, will exhibit at MIT’s Rotch Library Gallery from September 14, 2022, until October 26, 2022.
