For MIT Students

MIT undergraduate and graduate students may take courses at Harvard University and Wellesley College. Consult the Registrar’s website for information and requirements.

Only undergraduate students may cross-register at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt). Additional information on cross-registering at MassArt may be found here.

NOTE: Continuing Education classes are not available for cross-registration.

For non-MIT students

Students from other campuses wishing to cross-register for courses offered by the Art, Culture and Technology program at MIT should begin by reviewing the MIT Registrar’s requirements:
For Harvard students
For Wellesley students
For other institutions

In order to cross-register for an ACT class, students should:

1. Contact the course instructor in advance to introduce yourself and inquire about the likelihood of admission.
1. Get the appropriate form from your registrar’s office.
2. Attend the first class and get the instructor’s signature.
3. Return your form to your home registrar.
