ACT at MIT

On Wednesday, September 23, Matthew Mazzotta (SMVisS ’09) will be speaking at the United Nations – General Assembly Program, moderated by Rem Koolhaas at 10:30am EST.

The Future is Unwritten’s program, as part of this year’s historic 75th Session of the UN General Assembly, highlights the central role that art and creativity can play in the UN’s Global Agenda. They launched this program with a special Artnet News podcast featuring a fascinating conversation between WHO’s Arts & Health Lead, Christopher Bailey, and Artnet Editor-in-Chief, Andrew Goldstein. The podcast introduces the upcoming Healing Arts Auction series in partnership with Christie’s, Artnet, and the WHO Foundation; this major initiative to support the Mental Health response to COVID-19 and the applied use of arts in healing after the pandemic will be announced shortly.
