Interfaces of the Invisible
2022-2023
Interfaces of the Invisible seeks to generate affective relationships with geographic data and environmental measurements through new technologies and methodologies of contemporary art. The work team seeks to understand new ways of relating to the data generated by new environmental sensor technologies, which are increasingly more accessible in terms of price and technology. This project stems from the concern to question what the work of contemporary art hand in hand with technology could be, to better understand the scale of the climate emergency we are experiencing and at the same time bring these new technologies closer to the public, thus granting agency to new actors and new audiences.
Supported by the Mexican National Fund for the Arts (FONCA) and the Taiwanese Ministry of Culture. Project made in Collaboration with Chi Po Hao.
